he test of 21 days out of 28 days of final oil production, following the completion of the construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the central processing unit of the Azar oil field, with the presence of respected representatives of Iran's oil and gas production monitoring units, West Oil and Gas Exploitation Company and Oil Engineering and Development Company, ended successfully on Monday, January 04, 2021. Furthermore, the most complex oil field in Iran and the region has stabilized its daily production of 65,000 barrels of oil.
To accomplish this objective, other projects of the plan, which comprise 19 production wells and one wastewater production well with a total drilling of about 85 km, more than 400 km of flow lines, oil, and gas transmission, catchment, and pumping facilities From Changuleh river, Sarchahi facilities with the latest available technologies, electricity distribution network, etc. are fully in the production circuit and they are all in operation in addition to the central processing unit.
The successful completion of this significant test is the outcome of coherent planning, the formation of various working groups at the headquarters and the site, in addition to the 24/7 efforts of all the experts present in the Azar Oil Field development project to reduce risk and increase the reliability of performance.
